The Explanada de España, a stunning palm-lined promenade, is an excellent location for a hotel with easy access to the beach and a wide range of amenities. Alternatively, if you're a budget traveler or prefer a more local experience, the old town, known as El Barrio, offers charming guesthouses and affordable hostels with a unique charm.

Alicante is a foodie's paradise, with an abundance of mouthwatering culinary options to explore. Start your day with a traditional Spanish breakfast of churros con chocolate, dipped in thick, velvety chocolate sauce. For a memorable dining experience, head to the central market, Mercado Central, where you can feast on fresh seafood, tapas, and local produce. Don't forget to try the famous Alicante dish, arroz a banda (rice with fish), a flavorful rice dish cooked in fish broth.
